YOUTH ART FUSION

Raffaella Ravaioli•9 months ago Youth Art Fusion is an inspiring and dynamic community initiative designed to sparks creativity, empower youth, and build stronger neighborhoods. This innovative program combines art, self-expression, and community engagement to create a powerful platform for young voices to be heard.Imagine vibrant workshops where young people craft edible art using wireless ink pens to decorate fruits with symbols of strength, safety, and positivity—culminating in a lively public exhibition and celebration. Picture colorful fruit mosaics that symbolize resilience and unity, and empowering visual stories that celebrate diverse body types, fostering self-love and acceptance. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Youth Art Fusion features glow-in-the-dark power walks, where participants design luminous wearable art representing their dreams and future ambitions. They also explore true-to life textures and effects through gel printing techniques, expressing their identities and resilience in innovative ways. This program is more than just art—it’s a movement to inspire confidence, promote inclusivity, and strengthen community bonds. It’s about giving young people the tools to transform their stories into impactful art that can inspire change far beyond the canvas.Let’s work together to bring this exciting project to life and make a lasting difference in our community!

"There is no planet B" Art&Craft Project - £4820

Raffaella Ravaioli•5 years ago This project will aim to educate and spread awareness to our community on how to recycle wasted materials through art& craft activities. We will create a final art piece to be exhibited at the local library made from our litter picking in the parks and green areas. The participants will give a new life to waste materials from crisp bags to plastic bottles expressing their talents and imagination. This project will be open to everyone: children, adults, youth elderly families with children with learn difficulties, disable, bringing the community together. The classes will be held in the Local Parks when weather permits and in hired community centres.Research has shown that people tend to litter more when there is litter already there, that the presence of litter almost gives people permission to drop more litter therefore we need to make sure that we keep our parks, green spaces free of litter so that there is no incentive for people to drop litter. The presence of litter indicates also that no one cares about the area and more worryingly, that people don’t care about each other hence why criminals think that they will have an easier life if they focus their efforts on that area.Based on the fact that litter attracts crime to an area, we have now another good reason for keeping our area free of litter so we can feel a bit safer.Litter problem would not get solved unless we will all get involved and play our part.Everyone will have the opportunity to take part in this unique challenge: from parents, schools , recyling teams to Community centres. It is important that we begin to take responsibility for our litter action in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our and the future generations.Even better if we can re use that litter to create an unique art piece all together in a positive relax enviroment.

"You are what you eat" "Healthy eating=Yummy food

Raffaella Ravaioli•5 years ago It is important to teach people that the food they are eating has lots of PRESERVATIVES, ADDITIVES, CHEMICALS inside that are armful to their health.Eating healthy is important to boost up our immune system and prevent heart disease and cancer.Healthy food start at home in your kitchen from your shopping list and your choice of food.We could creat workshop where we teach family that healthy food can be yummy and fun too,Everyone is thinking that eating healthy is boring just fruit and vegetables but it is not like that ..for example you can make a purple cake from beetroot juice or colour green a mascarpone for your cheesecake using a spinach reduce juice without need of nasty artificial colourants.Did you know you can make your chocolate gelatine free marshmallow at home with only three ingredients using chickpeas water as base?? no needs to add fake Es that normally we find in the one we buy in the shop?We could run interactive workshop where we teach families to cook 15-20 minutes meals from their healthy shopping list (nobody has time to cook for hours ) using cooking hacks too...for example do you know if you cook your cauliflower upside down in a bowling water from a kettle it will takes 5 minutes and when cooked it wil literally open buy itself without need to cut it like a chef ?Rice and pasta cook in boiling water from a Kettle take literally half of the time too cook.We combine workshop where we highlight the importance to shop healthy reading ingredients labels and also to cook healthy yummy food from scratch in no time with cooking hacks.Very exciting making a wrap with those ready tortillas but did you know they contain mono and DIGLYCERIDES of fatty acid which are TRANS fat that are very bad for your health??You can make that flat bread in no time with flour and a pot of plain yogurt in 5 minutes and you wrap will taste even better. Also we could teach how to save the planet while we are cooking for example from the same egg we are making pasta or frittata or cake we will reuse the egg shell to plant a seed inside, the same seed from the same pepper we have made our pasta sauce or decorate our frittata) and we will use the eggs cartoon as a base for the seeds plant without any waste at all, happy upcycling too.
