Vandome Close and Leyes Street New Homes

Since 2018 Newham has embarked on a refreshed plan to develop Custom House, building new homes and improving the area for the benefit of residents. A lot has happened since then, including planning consent for the masterplan and the first phases on construction, what we call the ‘kickstart sites’ and residents have shown their support for the plans through the Residents Ballot.

Leyes Road is an affordable housing scheme that will be offered to eligible residents from Custom House and Canning Town as part of our commitment to providing a range of options for residents’ future homes.
