New Thames Barrier Park artwork

Thames Barrier Park: A new artwork to help people find the park more easily

As part of the Royal Docks Corridor project, The Royal Docks Team (RDT) are looking to install a new artwork on the wall(s) opposite Pontoon Dock DLR station. The entrance to the park up the steps or via the 'Green Dock' entrance are currently a bit mysterious, and so RDT are looking for a bright, bold artwork to show people the way.

If you regularly visit the park and would like to get involved in this project, please leave a comment below. Thank you!

Currently the Call Out for artists' proposals is open.

The Royal Docks Team (RDT) are looking for artists’ proposals for a new large-scale mural or wall-based artwork outside Thames Barrier Park.

It follows a series of major improvements in the area (called the Royal Docks Corridor project), building and cleaning to make the neighbourhood safer, greener and more accessible. This has included a full overhaul of the square outside Pontoon Dock station, where we’re now hoping to install a vibrant, welcoming new artwork across 1-2 of the walls.
