Sustainable Transport Strategy

Thanks to all those who attended community co-creation workshops. There will be further engagement on the Sustainable Transport Strategy later this year.

SYSTRA and LB Newham are also looking to host some online community co-creation workshops, to obtain more detailed inputs from community representatives and stakeholders towards various elements of the draft strategy proposals. 

The sessions would last for 90 minutes, and would be held via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to participate from any location with internet connection.

The workshops would take place across two stages. The first would be held in early 2023, at the initial baseline development stage; and the second would be held later in 2023 once more detailed proposals have been developed. 

How the data collected will be handled

The findings will be used by SYSTRA and LB Newham to aid the initial development of the borough-wide Sustainable Transport Strategy. All the information you provide will be confidential and reported anonymously. LB Newham will not be able to trace any answers or comments to specific people, agencies or places. The results of the research may be published, but no personal identifiers will be used in reporting.
