The London Borough of Newham (LBN) wishes to develop a borough-wide Sustainable Transport Strategy to inform the refresh of their Local Plan, as well as to guide the nature of future delivery of sustainable transport schemes by the Council. We have commissioned SYSTRA, an independent consultancy, to develop this strategy in collaboration with the Council.
To inform the future Sustainable Transport Strategy, a baseline report provides insights into the current transport context in the borough. Through demonstrating the strengths and weaknesses in the current transport network of the borough, the baseline review identifies the opportunities and challenges that will shape the future strategy.
