Stratford & West Ham Community Assemblies 2022

Overview

The Community Assemblies will identify how best to address concerns in your area. The assemblies give you and your neighbours direct influence to create a shared vision for the place where you live, work or learn and to help shape its development and growth. This will be your chance to discuss local priorities, establish community projects for your neighbourhood, and influence how the £100,000 available in your neighbourhood will be spent.

Background

Stratford and West Ham neighbourhood is made up of 3 wards; Stratford, Olympic East Village and West Ham

In the previous cycle, residents put forward and voted for their top priorities of concern for each neighbourhood. These priorities will be carried forward to the current cycle. The top priorities for Stratford were:

  1. Environment and Greener Streets - Air quality, recycling and waste
  2.  Safer Communities - crime and anti-social behaviour and girls/women safety
  3.  Improved, safer and connected/creative Stratford Park - safe, active and creative outdoor spaces and multi-use buildings
  4. Health and Wellbeing - reduction in health inequalities, physical and mental health, healthy eating, food growing

You can find out about projects delivered in the previous cycle here.
