Service charges and other costs

January 5, 2022 - January 6, 2022

Will information be provided on service charges relating to any new homes or blocks?

Service charge calculations are based on the services provided and will continue to be set in line with the terms of your tenancy. Your new neighborhood will have improved facilities, communal

and green spaces; these are being designed with maintenance in mind to keep costs to a minimum. The extra number of homes will mean there will be more people to contribute to the maintenance of the area.

How many homes will be ‘social rent’ and how many ‘affordable rent?’

All existing council tenants will pay a council rent (in line with council policy).

All other affordable homes will be provided at a London Affordable Rent (set by the Greater London Authority). These are all classified as genuinely affordable rents, which are below the Local Housing Allowance.

What will be the mix of home sizes?

There will be a range of homes, providing 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The masterplan is providing 39% family sized homes.
