Housing Services Resident Challenge Board


The Resident Challenge Board are a group of 13 tenants and leaseholders who meet monthly with Housing management representatives to receive updates on the Housing Service Improvement Programme. 

The role of the board is to challenge the Council on our progress with implementing the Housing Services Improvement Programme. The Board will also carry out focused reviews of key areas of the improvement programme and assess changes being made.

Challenge 3 - Resident Participation and Transparency

The theme for the third challenge selected by the Resident Challenge Board was Resident Participation and Transparency, this work forms part of the Transparency and Resident Access Project and the presentation included work on delivering the Housing Resident Involvement Strategy, Communications Plan and Tenant Satisfaction Measures.

The first meeting for this challenge cycle took place on Monday 15 September, where the Resident Challenge Board received a detailed presentation from the officers leading this programme. The RCB provided their finalised recommendation for this theme on Thursday 5 March 2026 and we are currently preparing our response to the recommendations.
