The Big Vote

October 21, 2023 - November 12, 2023

The Big Vote is now open!

Anyone who lives, learns or works in the Community Neighbourhood of Forest Gate & Maryland can vote for their 10 favourite projects.

Make sure you vote for 10 projects before submitting your vote. You can modify your vote until 12 November at 8pm when the voting phase closes. There are 34 proposals to choose from in Forest Gate & Maryland. They have been shortlisted by your working group. Now, it's your time to vote!

You can only vote in your Community Neighbourhood, and you can only vote once. Make sure you indicate a valid postcode and door number from the Community Neighbourhood area when you vote.

Here is a quick video to voting online:

You must be 13 years old or over to use Newham Co-create and vote online. If you are under 13 and wish to vote for projects, you can do so at your local event or at a library with adult supervision.

Want to hear directly from residents and local organisations about their proposal? Register to attend your local event on Saturday 21 October. You can also vote in person at the event instead of voting online.

Prefer to vote in person? You can vote in person at any of the local events or at your local library. Check with your local library to find out more and when in person voting is available.

Forest Gate & Maryland has a total budget of £200,000 for this cycle.

If you have more questions about how the Big Vote works, check the FAQ below. If you need support, contact your Community Neighbourhood.
