November 1, 2025 - November 30, 2025

The Big Vote is now OPEN!

This is your opportunity to decide how funding is spent in your neighbourhood. Funding comes from the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) from new developments in the borough. They support community projects aimed at improving local neighbourhoods.

There are 65 projects to choose from in Stratford, West Ham and Olympic Park.

Residents are encouraged to get involved with project applicants online by asking questions. Please remember to keep things respectful and courteous—let’s make this a positive space for collaboration and trust in our community.

Who can vote

  • Anyone who lives, works, volunteers or studies in Newham can take part in the Big Vote.
  • You can vote in one Community Neighbourhood of your choice and you can only vote once.
  • Online voting is open to residents who are 13 years old and over. Younger children who would like to vote and can have a good understanding of the projects can do so in person at the events, in libraries or at outreach voting sessions, with adult supervision.

How to vote

  • Everyone has a minimum of 5 votes and a maximum of 10 votes that they can use to vote for their favourite projects in one Community Neighbourhood of your choice.
  • You can either vote online or in person, but you can only vote once.
  • You must be registered on Newham CoCreate to vote online.

Where else can I vote?
