Shortlisting

September 22, 2025 - October 31, 2025

The deadline for project applications is now closed.

Working group members and Council services are now reviewing project applications and shortlisting the projects that match the priorities, the essential criteria, and are feasible within the timeline. Once the shortlisting phase is complete, projects that have been shortlisted will be taken forward to the voting phase which will start on Saturday 1 November.

The Big Vote runs from Saturday 1 November to Sunday 30 November. Anyone who lives, works or studies in Newham can vote for their 10 favourite projects in one neighbourhood of their choice. There are four ways to vote:

  • Stratford, West Ham & Olympic Park's Big Vote event on Saturday 1 November, 10-12.30pm at Stratford Library
  • Online on Newham CoCreate - check back here from 1 November to be able to vote
  • Dropping in to Stratford library
  • Finding us at an outreach voting session:

Sunday 16 November, 11-1.30pm at Christ Church Three Mills, The House Mill, Three Mill Lane, E3 3DU

Monday 17 November, 3-4pm at School 21, Pitchford Street, Stratford, E15 4RZ
