Phases
Our priorities
Residents of Manor Park have now chosen their top 3 priorities:
1. Health and wellbeing
2. Youth empowerment
3. Environment & public spaces
You can find the recording of the event below and the presentation attached.
In this phase, residents came together to choose their local priorities.
There were 6 themes to choose from which have been derived from the Council's strategy to build a fairer Newham: Community development & participation, Community safety, Environment & public spaces, Health & wellbeing, Inclusive economy and Youth empowerment.
You can read about the Council's strategy in the Corporate Plan and the 6 theme cards attached below. You can also watch the animation below which explains the Council's strategy in 3 minutes.
All projects applying for funding through People Powered Places will then have to address at least one of the 3 local priorities.
