Our consultation with you

The proposals for the site are at an early stage, but will follow these principles:

Quality: the new buildings will be in keeping with the area, and to a well thought-out design by award-winning architects, BPTW.

Green space: the development will have green space for the use of its residents, and the project will make a financial contribution to support improvements to the parks in North Woolwich.

Affordable: the new homes will include family-sized and wheelchair accessible homes. All homes will be let at London Affordable Rent levels – this is roughly the same as traditional social rent.

Sustainability: the new homes will be built to ambitious sustainability standards, with a reduced carbon footprint during both construction and in use, which will result in lower fuel bills for new residents.

Parking: parking permits will be reserved for existing residents in the area. Residents in the new homes will be unable to apply for parking permits, and the development will be car free, with the exception of disabled parking spaces, in accordance with Council policy.
