Newham Council are refurbishing the lighting and tarmac in King George V Park into a new and exciting area for Urban Sports starting with elements and obstacles for wheeled sports provision including skating and skateboarding.

Folllowing the timeline of works, we can confirm; floodlight replacement, the full resurfacing of the tarmac and the installment of obsticles and skateable elemets is now completed.
The Council and Betong Park have delivered a truly unique and exciting space for residents to engage and participate in wheeled sports, such as skateboarding, roller skating and skooting. It is now open for activity!
