Jack Cornwell Centre Refurbishment Project Phase
The Council has now appointed Public Works Ltd to deliver this project.
They have been working on design proposals that incorporate the comments from users of the centre and other local residents. They have run three engagement events, one in June,one in July, and one is September to share the current designs and gather people's opinions. Please see the drawing below which outlines the design changes that will take place.
Public Works are also working with some of the gardeners at Jack Cornwell Community Centre to apply for funding for further improvements to the garden through the Newham led People Powered Places initiative.

Phases
Procurement of Design Team
Start the Internal procurement processes and approvals for the services of an experienced design team which will lead the next phase of engagement and design for the Centre's refurbishment.
Procurement will start in Q1 of 2023 with completion of this process and appointment of the selected organisation in April 2023.
