Have your Say on the boundary
The Boundary
The Government allows small changes to Pride in Place boundaries, provided that each area covers around 10,000 people.
The current area, shown in red, covers approximately 7,000 people. This means that an expanded boundary will not cover the entire Little Ilford ward area. However, we want to define a wider core area that reflects the places and communities most closely associated with Little Ilford.
Why does the boundary matter?
The boundary helps define:
• The core area covered by the Pride in Place programme
• The area where the programme's activities and resources will be concentrated
The boundary does not limit where improvements can take place. Areas or places outside the boundary may still be considered for investment and improvement if they have a significant impact on people living, working, or spending time within the core area.
At this stage, we are asking for your views on the core area only. However, we expect the benefits and impact of the programme to extend across the wider Little Ilford ward area, shown by the black line.
We are proposing a number of minor changes to the boundary. These are shown on the maps and explained below. We want to hear what you think, including whether you agree, disagree, or believe other changes should be considered.
There is no single correct answer. We want to understand how local people see their neighbourhood and which places they feel are part of Little Ilford.
Area 1: Includes all of the Warrior Square Estate and wider area around Jack Cornwell Community Centre

Area 2: Includes the central area of Little Ilford, the terraced homes and Dersingham Primary School

Area 3: Includes the parade of shops on Church Road and terraced homes

Area 4: Includes the London Sri Murugan Temple and the parade of shops
