Have your say on the proposed new homes at Hathaway Crescent
The proposals for the site are still being developed, but will follow these principles:
Quality
The new buildings will be in keeping with the area and to a well thought-out design by award winning architects BPTW.
Affordable
The new homes will include family-sized and wheelchair accessible homes. All homes will be let at London Affordable Rent levels.
Sustainability
The new homes will be built to ambitious sustainability standards, with a reduced carbon footprint during both construction and when occupied, resulting in lower fuel bills for the residents.
Parking
Residents of the new homes will be unable to apply for parking permits and the development will be car free, with the exception of disabled parking spaces, in line with planning policy.
Green space
As part of the development the park at Hathaway Crescent will be improved, with new play equipment, more trees and plants, and better lighting. We will also improve the green spaces at the entrance to the estate.
Wider improvements to Hathaway Crescent
Working with other Council services we would also like to make some other improvements on the estate such as extra cycle hangers, improved recycling facilities, and better lighting in the alley leading to Shakespeare Crescent.
Would you like to help design the new park at Hathaway Crescent?
As part of this project we would like to improve the park and play areas at Hathaway Crescent. We have some ideas but we really want to hear from residents of all ages about what changes you would like to see and help us answer some questions, such as:
What type of play space and play equipment would you like to see?
Do you want space to grow vegetables?
Would you like the railings around the park to stay or to be removed?
How can we make the space safer and easier to use for all residents?
What else could we provide to improve the park?
If you would like to help us design the new park please get in touch by phone or email and tell us your ideas.

Phases
Submission of planning application
