Tackling Illegal Dumping – We need your help!
We are planning a series of five action days across the borough to tackle illegal dumping on our streets. The aim of the action days is to tackle the fly-tipping taking place at well-known hotspots throughout the borough of Newham. Using fly-tipping hotspot data, we’ve identified locations where focused action could make the biggest difference - but we want residents to help shape where we start.
At five locations, we’ll deliver a range of proven interventions, including:
- resident engagement and education
- increased enforcement activity
- changes to street features where appropriate.
Please vote on the top five locations you would like to see us carry out our Action Days on in the survey below. The survey will take no more than 2 minutes to complete.
If you would like to volunteer as a Street Champion to support these initiatives, please leave us your email address in the survey. Street Champions will help us with resident engagement and education during the action days in June/July.
