Draft Asset Management Strategy

Draft Housing Asset Management Strategy 2023-25

We want your views on our new draft plan setting out how Newham Council will prioritise improvements to make social housing in the borough warmer, greener and safer.

Our Draft Housing Asset Management Strategy 2023-2025 (AMS) will help the Council target work on the residential buildings that need it most, meet emerging regulations and set out Newham’s action plan for the next two years.

Information gathered during the initial draft AMS will be used to shape longer-term plans covering future five- and 30-year periods.

Join us at our drop-in session to discuss the draft asset management strategy. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about what the Council is doing to tackle damp and mould at the same event.

Date: Wednesday 12th July 2023

Time: 4.30pm - 6.30pm

Location: Stratford Library (Hopkins Room), 3 The Grove, London E15 1EL

Consultation on the Draft Housing Asset Management Strategy - tell us what matters to you!

Have your say on plans to make homes warmer, greener and safer

We’re introducing a Draft Housing Asset Management Strategy 2023-25 (AMS) detailing how we will repair council homes and blocks in the borough – and we want your feedback.

Our AMS sets out a proactive action plan of how we’ll improve energy efficiency, meet emerging building and fire regulations and use data and inspections to target work where it’s needed most.

Have your say in our consultation, which is open now until Monday 31 July 2023. The events below identify the in person events where residents can meet officers and discuss their views.

For those who wish to share their views by email, please contact : Retrofit.Project@newham.gov.uk
