Canning Town Old Library Transformation: Building Works in Progress

Building work is progressing well at Canning Town Old Library, where builders are currently installing the new heating and ventilation systems. These services have been carefully designed and coordinated to minimise any impact on the building’s heritage features, while ensuring energy efficiency and creating a comfortable environment for all visitors and staff at the new Heritage Centre. 

In the picture, you can see a large opening where the new passenger lift will be installed. This will provide step-free access to all floors of the building.
