The new Independent Commission on Belonging and Inclusion in Multi-ethnic Newham wants to hear about how institutions and organisations are working to help people in Newham live well together, whatever their background.

Many organisations are doing great work to foster inclusion and belonging, and the Commission is keen to learn from this, to ensure your expertise informs their recommendations and final report to be published in July 2026.

Please fill out the form attached or submit other evidence, such as research papers, evaluations and project information packs to jake@britishfuture.org

Any responses, however brief, are greatly appreciated to learn from what is currently working well and to better understand existing gaps, and priorities for change.

This call for evidence is one of several methods British Future are using to understand the perspectives of stakeholders in Newham, in addition to conducting research with local residents. If you are a resident, you can take part in the survey here
