Queen's Market
The Project
The focus will be to upgrade the existing building to help improve the look, feel and function of the Queen’s Market. These improvements are designed to improve the experience for both traders and shoppers and encourage more people to visit, spend and enjoy all that is on offer at Queen's Market.
Appointed Architects
East London-based JA Projects are leading designs for the Queen’s Market and Queen's Square. JA Projects are experts in using architecture, art and performance to work with local communities to realise projects.

Working Group Minutes
Local residents and businesses applied and were independently selected to sit on the Queen's Market and Square key stakeholder working group. The working group members shared their knowledge of the area to help the design team and Newham Council better understand the aspirations of the broad range of key stakeholders. This guided the design and delivery of the projects for the Queen's Market and Square. The meetings were held between July 2021 and November 2021.
