Jordan Allen5 years ago Project Application by the Beckton Globe Youth Zone Members Committee for a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) at the back of Beckton Globe Youth Zone. The aims of the project are to create an outdoor space for young people who use the youth zone to play sports and games. But it is also a space that can be used by all people who access Beckton Globe Youth Zone. It could be a place to interact and socialise with others. To take part in games with our peers and learn new skills. To practice teamwork and working together. An inclusive place that everyone could use and an opportunity to get off the street and do something positivePriority 2: inclusive and improved indoor and outdoor spacesPriority 3: Community SafetyWe think our project addresses two of the local priorities as it will improve our outdoor space and be available for everyone who accesses the centre to use. We also think it addresses the aspect of community safety as the area we would use for the MUGA is one where we feel safe and other young people feel the same and would come and use the space as well
