Shaba Ali1 year ago Through the E13 Lens is a powerful community project led by Man Kind, designed to explore and reflect the emotional and mental wellbeing of Newham residents through the art of street photography. Over the course of six immersive sessions, participants will take to the streets of Newham—camera or phone in hand—to capture honest, everyday moments that speak to the lived experiences and silent struggles of the community.Open to all residents, from the young to the elderly, the project invites individuals to document their surroundings and share the unique stories unfolding around them. At the culmination of the sessions, each participant will select three of their most meaningful images to be professionally printed and displayed for public viewing. Alongside these visuals, participants will present the personal connections between their photographs and mental wellbeing, creating a powerful dialogue between image, emotion, and lived reality.Step out.
