Description
Our project is a dynamic initiative designed to empower the Green Street neighbourhood’s youth. Whilst primarily focusing on the local priority of youth empowerment, we will also address mental health, wellbeing, and community safety.
Our comprehensive and intense program will engage participants aged 13 to 18 in various activities, including educational workshops, community service engagement, fun youth activity days, opportunities for youth leadership, communication, and digital development, along with other workshops. These activities and workshops are carefully designed to instil essential life skills, enhance mental resilience, and foster a sense of belonging among young residents, ensuring they have the tools to navigate life’s challenges successfully. As part of our dedication to community wellbeing, we prioritise the mental health of our staff, participants, and the community.
With ongoing evaluation and planning for long-term sustainability, our project aims to make a lasting impact, creating a safer, more engaged, and more vibrant Green Street neighbourhood for all residents. Through collaboration, empowerment, and community engagement, we aspire to create lasting positive changes, elevating the quality of life in the community and contributing to the betterment of the community and the lives of its residents.
