Newham has the second youngest age profile of any borough in London – over nine in ten aged under 65.

This theme includes (but is not limited to):

enabling all children and young people to reach their potential, be safe, happy and healthy regardless of their background
youth safety
activities for children and young people, play, school readiness and high quality childcare.

Residents from Custom House & Canning Town chose Youth empowerment as their third local priority.
