Youth Community Centre - £19,962

With a lack of youth facilities within the borough, we aim to open the Ascot Community Centre as a Youth Centre, whist remaining open to the wider community as well. This will address the Priority: Youth Activities & Education

We will run an educational program around design, technology and business. Taking individuals through the creative process from design and concept stage, to branding, packing, promotion and selling of the product/service. This program is called; Make, Model, Master. The Design Cabin Community C.I.C has education at the heart of everything we do, we want to get as many young people upskilled, qualified or into employment as possible. We have many programmes that will achieve this, including have a Digital Skills Hub – a bank of 10 computers pre-loaded with industry standard software, allowing young people to develop skills, and understanding of the industry which they are trying to get into. We also will run many career sessions both one-to-one and as a group, on CV writing, Importance of Social Media Professionalism, and the power of LinkedIn.
