WOW! STEM Explorers Programme – Coding, Robotics & VR for Kids
Get ready to explore, create, and have fun! WOW! STEM Explorers Programme brings the excitement of coding, robotics, and VR to children aged 7–14 in Newham. Our Saturday afternoon sessions are packed with hands-on STEM challenges, creative projects, and even birthday celebrations—complete with snacks, decorations, photo corners, and certificates!
Children don’t just learn—they experience technology in action, build confidence, and develop skills that could shape their future. Local young volunteers join in too, sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
This programme is inclusive, fun, and designed to spark curiosity, bringing families together, strengthening community connections, and making STEM learning unforgettable. Join us and watch young minds light up with excitement and creativity!

I had the opportunity to help out at Vivian’s October Tech Camp, and it was such an amazing experience. The children were fully engaged, working hands-on with robotics, learning about AI, and exploring technology in fun and creative ways. It was inspiring to watch them grow in confidence and curiosity with each activity, discovering new skills while truly enjoying themselves. The camp had such a positive and energetic atmosphere, and Vivian’s passion for inspiring young minds really shone through. After seeing how incredible the October camp was, I’m sure this Saturday’s programme will be just as exciting and impactful for everyone involved.

I’ve seen how much students enjoy this programme! It’s such a great way for children to learn about next-gen technology in a fun and engaging way. The hands-on activities really spark their creativity and curiosity. It’s wonderful to see how confident and inspired they become after each session. This is such a good initiative.

Vivian has delivered her Computer Club at Grow Box in November 2024 and March 2025 on a weekly basis. Her sessions were well attended by local families and children. The programme she ran was interactive and engaging for young people who learnt everything from Robotics to Coding. This is an amazing opportunity to open up learning opportunities for even more young people in Newham.

Vivian delivered her Computer Club at Custom Made, 25 Freemasons Road, between November 2024 and March 2025 on weekly basis, which consisted of coding, robotics and video game design. Her programme is highly interactive, fun and educational - which make the club very engaging for kids to learn. The funding will allow Vivian's programme to reach wider audience locally and provide an amazing opportunity for the local young people to gain valuable skill in computer, science and innovation whilst having fun at the same time!

We've seen firsthand the benefits of Vivian's classes, delivered at Grow Box in Canning Town and Custom Made in Custom House. She is a brilliant teacher with a real passion and skill for all things tech, making every session she runs fun for all participants.
This programme is an amazing offer for young people to learn new skills that could shape their future careers and to have a great time doing so!
