Hi James,
Many thanks for highlighting the road issues in the Woodgrange/Romford area. It is part of the New Local Plan’s objectives to promote safe cycling and walking within the borough, so we will consider your comment when revising our area-specific policies.
We will also pass on the message to the Highways team.
Woodgrange road / Romford Road / Upton lane intersection

I think this junction needs a complete overhaul to make the junction more pedestrian friendly but also to improve flow for cyclists. Currently it takes a long time to cross the islands are small and restricted. Simultaneously cyclists and e-scooters use this junction but they are large and take up lots of space. I think also improving parking enforcement on the Romford rd -> Woodgrange rd right hand turn would definitely improve the flow of traffic. There is a real problem with motorists traveling through this junction when the pedestrian lights are green.

I agree. This is a safety issue for pedestrians as the green man often does not correspond to no traffic when crossing the single lanes to the islands on Romford Road.
