Women and Girls Empowerment & Safety Project

Project aims to provide women and girls a safe space, self-defense classes, workshops and training. To devlop their self resilience and confidence to protect themselves and others from harm.

Providing them with a safe and secure environment to learn, educate and engage in positive activities. As well as be positive role model and ambassadors of the local area and Newham.

Personal safety and dignity for Women and Girls is really important to us. This project is targeted at any women who are deemed at risk or vulnerable, or may be experiencing emotional or physical abuse at home, feeling unsafe on the streets, on public transport or at their work place.

We will hold an end of year community safety event and bring all our partners and stakeholders and local authority agencies to raise awareness and celebrate our rich pool of resources and support services for women and girls.
