The Manor Park Pop-Up Shop

'The Pop-Up Shop' would create a new retail space and work with small local businesses who do not have premises and would benefit from some time on a high footfall street. Creating a yearly programme of varying shops and events.
The funding would pay for some refurbishment on an empty shop unit on Station Road that has been left derelict for over 14 years, situated to the side of the Community Centre. New signage and some works to the exterior, as well as painting would revitalise a very sad and prominent location.
This fits into Sustainable Development category in that it is uplifting a local High Street to contribute better to our neighbourhoods.

Love this idea! A great way to help local businesses get off the ground without having to incur the massive start up costs of renting their own permanent space initially. A little incubator for manor park businesses, brilliant.
