Don't know if anyone from newham council is reading this but there are too many similar projects. There is :- 1 ) Radha Krishna social club for elderly Hindus at one of their temples - yoga, discussions 2) Milap social club for elderly Hindu women - yoga, exercise, music, outings 3) Companions social club for elderly Muslims at their mosque - exercise, health discussions, hot meals 4 ) Silver Connections social club for elderly Asian women at the library - yoga, hot meals 5) Stay Strong Stay Young strength classes for elderly people at the library - exercise, health discussions, cultural activities 6) Seniors Got Talent creative workshops for elderly people - health discussions, music, art How is the council going to ensure that nearly one quarter of the funding won't be spent on 6 similar projects? And like every year there are multiple greening projects too (7).
@Jay Smith Thank you for your interested in my project ideas. I believe every application has its own unique project. Yes they might look similar but in reality are very different and tailored to different need and target audience. For example I am not just offering art and fashion workshops but my project include a talent show where everyone will have the opportunity to show their skills, talents and express themselves while winning prizes. If you like to learn more about me and my project please come to see my stand THIS SATURDAY 19 OF OCTOBER AT STRATFORD LIBRARY AT 13:15

@Selene SMP Thank you for your kind message. Please Vote :-)
@Selene SMP Sorry to hear that. I was looking at your online ideas here by clicking your name and to me looks like you have just written lots of different projects. Did you actually fill up an online form with all the details of one and sent to the address was given at the end of the form at the time? because just writing ideas here with different budgets is not consider an official application.

@Raffaella Ravaioli Thank you .So £5000 on 8 sessions. Still haven't answered how many places at each session or where they are taking place, or what your £5000 is going on - how much on staff, on venue, on materials?
@Jay Smith Thank you for your super interested in my project . The important fact is not the number of sessions I am offering but what I am offering and the quality of the workshops and of the talent show. PLease do not stuck youself on the money side, I am inviting you to. try to see a bigger picture here. For example I am offering to all partipants all the time an organic refreshment, then I am offering for Seniors got talent event gifts and prizes and more. The project is big, there are lot of costs to justify my budget: the right capacity venue to hire, paid staff, volunteers reward, artist, photographer transports, instruments, video editing, marketing and more. PLus it is a big show and workshops. The event will be in Forest Gate, in different venues. You can decide to support my idea with your vote or not vote for me at all, in anyway you are welcome to attend all my workshops and events anytime.
