Secure bike parking near East Ham and other tube stations to facilitate cycling

There is currently nowhere safe to leave a bike all day when commuting to work. Lots of people live a long walk from the tube lines so cycling to a station would be great. Also this would encourage people to cycle part of the way and therefore get more exercise.

With works often disrupting weekend travel, it would make our area more convenient to live in with real alternatives when a line is not working.

I would definitely use this if it was secure and avoided the unsafe and urine filled smell of the Stratford station one! I believe the Leyton station bike storage is successful, hopefully others can confirm or deny this.
