Car Park Security

Description
The estate is witnessing a severe increase in vehicles from non-residents accessing the car parks to commit illegal activity. The estate is positioned away from the high street and the car parks are hidden behind hedges and buildings, so it has become an attractive location for people to fly-tip, deal drug, solicit sex, steal vehicles and generally hide from authorities. The residents are feeling increasingly unsafe and despair at the state of the grounds as rubbish piles up.
This project is to seek council funding for the placement of security bollards on six car park entrances at Queensberry Place to increase the health, wellbeing of residents and their environment. This project has been supported by local police.
