This project aims to be delivered in parks and open spaces. The intention is to work with local schools, community buildings, faith groups and disabled support groups. It will be open to all residents with the aim of building relationships between different groups in the community regardless of their age, background and disability.
This project aims to encourage residents to get out of their homes and use community spaces such as parks and get residents enjoying exercise and team activities together.
This community sports initiative revolving around Archery will bridge the gap between all residents regardless of age, background or ability. In Newham and there is a clear need that has been identified for a regular club or activity that is open to all and works with the local resources such as Plaistow park.
Before and after every session we will be doing a litter pick of the area we are using and educating member about the importance of clearing litter and recycling.
This project will will align with all 3 priorities.
The project plans to provide this experience to residents without charging any money to attend.
