Description

Do you want to see more art on Plaistow streets when you are passing by your shop or going to work? Do you want to attend art classes and creative workshops and learn how to draw or just relax in a nice environment?

Let's bring more art to Plaistow, this will develop the area, improve our streets and make us happier.

We plan to install two miniature street artworks in Plaistow and organise a series of weekly art workshops.

The art workshops include drawing classes and an introduction to art, the main beneficiaries are everyone including youth and elderly people. The planned number of workshops is 12, which last for 3 months. All classes are free.

There are limited free art classes for adults in the area and the aim is to match this need. Most of the classes will focus on drawing with some special classes about street art and photography.

The miniature street artworks will be a maximum of 20 cm big, installed by a local artist on a wall of Plaistow, and will cheer you up whenever you pass it.
