Description

This One2One employment level up programme is going to train, upskill and equip Newham residents and Ukrainians that join our programme. This programme is designed to provide fundamental skills to all learners. These skills can vary from soft skills to hard skills. These soft skills include cv writing, interview skills, digital skills, time management, conflict management and confidence building. Our hard skills courses includes our mentoring and wellbeing programme, digital skills crash course and entrepreneurship. These courses combined are design to give learners a unique experience of becoming ready for the workplace. Our programmes objective is to get the best out of all learners. We believe that all residents can do well and become positive contributors of society after taking part in this course in our programme. Futureents is a part of the education and employment industry our core aims is to help learners become positive examples and contributors of society. Our programmes will also navigate learners into employment and also equipped participants to be ready for job interviews.

This project will align with the employer and sector needs because we will make sure that participants will learn and gain the skills that are relevant to the job market of today. We work with different employers so we know what they are looking for in terms of candidates skillsets and competence. We will equip residents with digital soft skills such as Microsoft teams, zoom and get them use to the idea of hybrid working. In the first week of our programme we will tell all participants about what they are expected to gain from joining and what we expect of them while on the programme. We will identify participants that are ready for employment by them achieving the learning outcomes of each training provision on the programme. We will do small survey multi-choice test to see if learners are actually taking in and applying the information. We will always ask for feedback and improve where we can on the programme so candidates can achieve what the programme is created for. In addition our project will cover these objectives of the fund by Supporting access to volunteer opportunities, social connections, and integration, in person conversational English language training, Learning and development and Supporting access to employment.

We will also work with partner organisations who have the same objectives as us which is to create good training for residents looking for employment better career prospects. We will work with the partner organisation to provide good training and support for all candidates that come on our programme and also communicate this with the local authority in the borough. All needs of residents will be identified so that we can work well with our stakeholders and organisations that share common goals. We understand the urgency and needs of people to better their lives and this is why we have started this project to help as many newham residents into jobs and better opportunities as possible.
