From "People Powered East Ham"
Go to the project

Proposed budget
GBP 8,843
Description
- Promote the Health and Well Being benefits of singing. Especially in the elderly and retired who live on their own and are lonely.
- Singing is a great cardio-vascular exercise.
- Promotes good breathing.
- And releases endorphins that make you feel good.
- OUTREACH: The choir would like to go out about once a month to sing for different audiences including care homes and sheltered housing.
- A CHOIR IN EVERY CARE HOME Encourage a regular audience to participate when we visit.
- Local collaborations too. For example: St. Bartholomew's Church (where the choir meets). East Ham Library and Newham Music Academy.
