Description
Newham Community Pet Food Pantry NCPFP is a non-profit independent local group of Newham community volunteers for Newham’s pet owners and their furry companions. It is the only pet food bank in Newham.
AIM:
NCPFP’s aim is twofold: to support Newham’s pet owners facing cost of living challenges in providing for their pets. Additionally, NCPFP aims to increase volunteer participation, alleviate loneliness, isolation and help promote the sense of belonging.
NCPFP will strive to become a lifeline, ensuring that pets stay with their families, out of shelters or getting abandoned. NCPFP will endeavour to provide free pet food on monthly basis to Newham’s residents on low or no income, elderly or people with disabilities, homeless or people living in insecure housing. Our distribution point is at the South Mall of Stratford Shopping Centre, which is very accessible from all corners of Newham by public transport.
MEMBERSHIP:
Membership is open to any Newham residents 18 and over, or people who work in Newham interested in furthering the work of the group.
