Now we have built the garden, we really want to maximise its value to the local community. We want it buzzing with activity at the weekend and during the week too. We plan to work with the community to identify a range of social events, workshops and school sessions creating a programme of activities to be run throughout the year. This will include social events, workshops to learn about gardening and vegetable growing as well as other activities that can use the garden space (such as yoga, toddlers group, or a book club). It is important that everyone has access to the activities regardless of income and everyone feels welcome.
