What: Realise significant improvements to Little Ilford Park to make it more welcoming and safer for the local community.
- Improve the park's infrastructure, such as footpaths, seating areas, toilets / changing rooms. Work with local residents to identify additional needs.
- Introduce signage in and around the park to highlight entrances, guide visitors and make the park more welcoming.
- Improve lighting and safety of the park on the surrounding streets to discourage ASB.
- Improve Barrington Fields to allow more use from families and schools.
- Create physical exercise programmes for all ages to activate the park and encourage positive social activities.
- Work with enforcement to identify ways to discourage crime and ASB.

The trim track path is in need of an overhaul. It is becoming increasingly dangerous to run on and many now run on the grass in fear of falling.
The ‘pavilion’ could be brought into use as suggested by Cathay, perhaps a small cafe as in Plashet Park. The toilets near the children’s play area need immediate attention. There should be regular patrols/park wardens in the park to deter the anti social behaviour that takes place. Picnic area away from the cricket /football.

Improve foot paths, many people have walk along the park and the foot path is always muddy and slippery .

The children's play area is a currently unmaintained there are several pieces of broken equipment the areas were specilist reduced impact surface has been placed again are not maintained and the surface is now more risky!
This area is vitual for children in this area as there are lots of flats were children have no out door space to play the physical and mental well being of children in this area is reliant on this space. Toilets again need maintenance are never open. The pavilion /changing area would be a great facility for local groups school, youth groups, allotment group on Reynolds Rd. Bring back our park keepers.

@Cathay Boyle you are right, the park needs a lot attending too. There are so many people using it but the facilities are not the best. The area around children playground has turned into a toilet and I think this is a breeding space for germs. It would benefit the park users if the park toilets are opened to the users. Also there is not many chairs to sit on. Children and their families would also benefit if the park had more facilities such as a “garden, exercise machines etc.

Improve tennis courts and basketball facitlies the ground surface is stoney and uneven and is slippery and dangerous during wet weather. This park has not had major improvements in decades.
