To continue the beautiful project started last year by the "Love 15" community, I'd like to introduce my idea.
Plaistow is a beautiful residential area. Unfortunately it is very underestimated and consequently the inhabitants themselves do not take care of it that much and as a result, the problem of garbage and fly tipping is always present.
After the realization of the first mural, which gave our streets an extra brightness, the situation has slightly changed, so why stop right now?!
If we could make our area a colorful and unique place, where everybody would feel proud to walk around, surely people would appreciate it more and maybe think twice before leaving trash in the streets.
This project is entirely aimed at making our streets brighter, lighting and coloring them with art ... MADE BY AND FOR OUR RESIDENTS.
Furthermore, to underline a characterizing aspect of our community, artists of all nationalities will be invited. 2 international local artists have already been contacted

The #newhamstreetart community is also thrilled to participate.
Art is the expression of creativity and consequently each artist will be free to express the theme of "community" in his own way.

If the project is realized, a local street party will be organised to involve all the resident creatives ( dj’s, artists, singers etc…) to celebrate the belong to such a vibrant community.
