health benefits of LTN

My wife & I have both developed respiratory problems in the last two years, and were shocked to see the level of traffic (also the proportion which is through traffic) along our Road (Capel Road). When we first moved here traffic levels were significantly lower. For local children traffic at the current levels must be a significant health risk.

While we appreciate that the introduction an LTN may cause some inconvenience, we believe that the health benefits from reduced levels of pollution far outweigh these disadvantages.
