Free Little Library Boxes and Benches in Plaistow Park - £5000

This project proposes the design, creation and installation two Little Free Libraries incorporating seating areas in their design and placed at the main entrances of Plaistow Park. The aim of this project is to add an imaginative and creative element into the park for all members of the community to enjoy. Everyone is invited to take a book, to give a book (in any language) - to read, keep or share with others to foster a love of reading. The incorporated seating area aims to provide two new places for people to sit in the park, to relax, read, discover new stories and enjoy a great book. This project idea aspires to add a creative and welcoming component to the surrounding green space of Plaistow Park for everyone in the local community to enjoy.
