Fort Fit Sports Event

The Event : Fort Fit – To provide Sports for exercise and youth and family inclusion during the winter end of term break at Newham leisure centre and local parks in E16. Because discipline is a focus in Newham using pugilistic sports such as Taekwondo will instil confidence from learning how to defend and restrain oneself and discipline from learning a martial art discipline. Yoga will help the young people learn other methods to relax and respect through class stretching focused exercises. Football will promote cohesion through team sports, and street dance provides the coolness factor as well as individual achievement satisfaction, balance and coordination.

Addressing and tackling head on the lack of alternative exercise options, BAME and SEND inclusive through myself being a troubled teen from ethnic background and working alongside organisations that been in Newham for many years.
