Description

Focus For Change is a project that all members of the community can join in with. The tools and experiences we offer are based on ancient knowledge, proven by results received individually and from scientific research carried out, which works across all cultures, in all age groups and can be easily learned and applied by everyone for self-empowerment, self-healing, self-mastery and for connecting communities together.

By learning, practising and reinforcing the methods we share, by joining the workshops and events we offer, this will help strengthen bonds to family, friends and community – opening up channels of possibility and helping us all to build better lives that benefit all around us!

We have 20+ years experience running successful events for prestigious brands and well-known companies. Since 2022, we've collaborated with experiential organisations which have consistently returned some of the highest ratings when producing sound, frequency and mindful events. That's how we know, these offerings, along with our movement and energy practices, really do work and they need to be shared.

As part of our bigger mission – we now bring our experiential, educational and bonding events to our local communities, where grants can allow us all to share in these amazing offerings!

Here's what to expect:

– Group sessions for passive relaxation and creativity using sonic sound and vibrational healing tools/techniques.

– Self-empowerment for healing oneself, benefitting family and friends using energy harnessing movement practices such as; Thai Chi, Qi Gong and Yoga.

– Self-empowerment for health using energy activation practices through; Breathwork, Pilates, Yin Yoga deep stretching and fascia release.

– Crafting: helping to bring community together through group sessions making tools for healing; including bags & leatherwork, sound instruments, Orgone energy pillows/blankets, rattles and drums.

– Education: Teaching modes of living that were known about and practiced by our ancestors across many different cultures, such as African, Indian, Chinese and European herbal remedies, Asian energy movement practices, universal voice activation, Yogic chakra energy and Daoist Dan Tien balancing, plus other North/South American, Mongolian, Slavic, Druidic, Persian, Eastern & Western practices that are known to bring positive mind, body and spirit influences.

– For the vulnerable, we've had great success working with CIP groups, especially those dealing with addictions, traumas and in remedying the mental and physical strains that release to bring positive changes in society.

Our programs are run for all faiths, all cultures and all peoples of Stratford – plus we encourage others to engage online where much of our work will be shared across multiple channels. To get a general idea of what some of our FFC facilitators are doing, you can visit the High Vibez website and click on 'Meet the team'.

Alternatively, our mini-site will be adding information over coming weeks to update on progress. Check here for our Focus For Change social channels.

For further details, – please message us directly or ask us on the vote day. We will be more than happy to help answer any further questions. :)

Anything that benefits well being should be open to all. As whole communities will benefit. Cathy and Chris will bring new positive energy to anyone who participates in anyone of their Focus for Change Hi Vibez sessions. Positive and happy people are what every community wants. This is a great project, one that needs to happen.

@Helen Murray Thanks Helen - appreciate your support :) we will do our best to bring offerings to the borough using this grant scheme hopefully and bringing our offerings and collaborators to more people regardless of the grant money – as the people most in need are those we want to help in our communities.

High Vibez / Focus for Change / Cathy and Chris are a wonderful team that provide a friendly, welcoming and inclusive spaces for all to enjoy. The sound baths are wonderfully relaxing and have provided me with a space to find calm and peace. The yoga classes are the absolute best with skilled teaching that is at your pace and includes support for all abilities. Creating community is a core part of the welcoming spaces they create, which are facilitated with great care and attention.

I've been attending group sessions, workshops and other events run by Cathy, Chris and the High Vibez team for a few years now and can say they stand out as a team that really care about people and building communities - consistently going above and beyond. For someone that didn't really understand or value the benefit of sound, restorative practice and relaxation it's been transformational for me personally and in meeting and building relationships with new people and communities in ways that go beyond the normal. You gotta give this a go!

@Keith Bendall Thank you Keith! Great to have your support here. We are really looking forward to bringing our offerings to Stratford and East London's wider community this year, 2026 and beyond! We have a lot of great workshops that we know have worked previously and new events that we know will work over the coming months.

I haven’t attended one of the sessions but this sounds amazing - just the kind of activity, education and sharing of important tools within the local area I’ve been looking for. I’m sure this would be enormously beneficial for the whole community. Best of luck!

This project sounds incredible both in it's content and in it's ability to reach a wide range of people. I have been to a number of sound baths run by Cathy and Chris and have always found them to be such a wonderful and relaxing experience in an often difficult and fast-paced world. This project has the potential to reach communities where it would be extremely beneficial.

@Vicky Philp Thank you Vicky :) We look forward to giving the local community access to tools that have been kept back for the wealthy and the privileged, or have been forgotten and lost to time. With our best intentions and the hard work put in, I truly believe in the power we'll bring to benefit our Stratford community!
