Description
Fitness for Families (FFF) will offer a range of health, fitness and sport activities to engage Women, Girl and Children to participate in regular physical activity.
Simultaneous activity i.e., Women exercise sessions and Children Sports hall activities will aim to see more women participate in activities to help reduce some of the barriers to participation, such as Childcare, Costs and Local venues.
- Dance Aerobics, Cardio Fit and Stretch & Tone exercises for Women.
- Multi-Sports for Children 5-11yrs and
- Sport and Well-being activities for Girls 10-16 yrs.
Staying Active is extremely important for all members of the community. Busy lifestyles reduce the time we make for ourselves. Lack of fitness facilities in the Little Ilford and Manor Park area results in non-activity and lower levels of health.
P.A.L.A.C.E’s (Physical Activity & Lifestyle Advantages for Community Enrichment) FFF programme is the perfect solution to motivate Women, Children and Families to improve their health.
Fitness for Families will be offered free to the community. Held at Little Ilford School, evenings and weekends.
