Drinking water fountains

we are made of water, we need water. Parks should have a drinking water fountain, this could be piloted in a local park, such as Plaistow park or new city park. These fountains are a feature is many countries and their parks are dotted with them, and are a valuable resource. This would help reduce the use of single plastic bottles, use of fizzy sugary drinks, which are responsible for teeth decay and obesity. Our parks are filled with littered bottles, and Coca Cola cans, it is shocking.
With climate change our weather our summers are getting warmer and residents are at risk of dehydration, which makes casualties every year, amongst the most fragile and elderly.
the picture is one of the 3 fountains in borough market, which have been a success, as we know fountains are now in some stations like Victoria station and all airports. Newham could start considering this, I am sure funding could be made available through section 106 with contractors, and other council money including Thames water partnership, if the 5 k grant is not eneugh.
Ah and why not one on the green way for the cyclists and joggers??
