Converting a portion of communal garden into a community garden for residents

     The Residents of Davidson Terraces off Claremont Road Forest Gate, would love to convert a portion of our communal garden into a community garden, where  all residents who do not have their own garden can come together, grow vegetables, sit and unwind from the hustle  and bustle of our daily lives. Currently in our communal garden all we have is a small area to dry our clothes, the pram shed and loads of weed and grass. We would love to transform it into a safe space, unwind, grow vegtables and create a biodiverse enviroment for our bees and other benifical insect. Most of our children are stuck inside and using a lot of electricity playing video games and watching tv. We want our young kids to learn the importance of sustainability, be active and also work towards being kinder to the enviroment and play a small role towards climate change, and cleaner air.
