Description
Led by Jaiden, a young person living in Chobham Manor, the Content Creation Saturday Club will focus on Esports. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to learn about the Gaming Industry, one of the fastest growing across the world, beyond playing games in their bedrooms. Over 20 Saturday mornings (run in two courses), they will design a new Game and the different ways to promote it. As young leaders, already engaged in this world, they will help participants to build skills needed. Students will learn how to be camera operators, sound engineers, directors and producers to create their own high quality content to be shared and gain feedback from industry professionals. They will visit the College of Esports under the Velodrome to try out professional equipment, go to Gaming Festivals to meet pioneers in film, view TV and social media and receive training from industry professionals. They will be empowered through the power of media reaching thousands of other young people who will be encouraged to engage in content creation and other positive activities that will increase their employability. They will understand that the Park belongs to them, including the free courses at London Stadium Learning, and events in the Olympic Park should be enjoyed beyond Westfield Shopping Centre.
